The Senate May Unwittingly Enforce Smaller Government....

In my view the Senate has absolute discretion in the way it sets out to 'confirm' ministerial nominees, however, this must be exercised fairly and consistently....In order words they can set up rules and guidelines for the process. The Presidential veto is not relevant here, however, the President can keep on re-presenting the same names...if they refuse to confirm then the result is some states may not have ministers unwittingly reducing the size and scale of government. I welcome the non confirmation of a few so we can at least have smaller government...will this be in breach, am not sure that if it is, one can lay it at the doors of the nominating authority...
