JUST IN: Presidential Plane Departs From London

Vanguard is reporting that the Presidential jet in London has departed the country on August 1.

According to the news outlet, the whereabouts or destination of the jet could not be ascertained which consequently caused anxiety within the presidential villa.
The Presidency is said to have denied having awareness of the development as both media aides to the president, Femi Adesina and Garba Lawal claimed such news should be regarded as a rumour.
Mr Adesina who denied knowledge of the development according to Vanguard said: “BBC also called me and said the president’s aircraft had taken off, I should confirm it.
I said the tradition is that if the president is coming, we will be asked to issue a statement but there has been no such instruction.”
Vanguard however submitted that “as at the time of filing this report late Tuesday night, there was no confirmation to the effect that the presidential aircraft had left London and there was no movement within the Presidential Villa to support the rumour.”
We had reported that President Muhammadu Buhari’s aircraft was spotted in a parking space in London.
According to viral reports online, it costs a whooping £4000 every 24 hours to use a parking lot.
This has raised concerned in the minds of Nigerians as to why the aircraft is ‘waiting’ for the president to get well.
Some also concluded that if the aircraft is in a parking lot, waiting for the president to be fine, it means the crew members are also in London, living large on Nigeria’s money.
