‘THE OMENS IN OSUN STATE’

Today is election day in the State of Osun, today is the day when under the freedom and fairness that a democratic space should provide, the people should have their say in who becomes the Governor for the next four years. 

If the APC propaganda machinery is to be believed then it appears the initial signs are not encouraging.  The facts suggests that with any permissible excuse APC politicians, government appointees are being arrested, detained and arrested.  To those who think this may be alright because they do not belong to their own side of the political divide, or because they reside on a different aisle, to those who applaud because their own candidate or agents are spared such treatment, to those who feel its acceptable because the APC are worse devils than the PDP, let them mark and underline my words.  The triplets of tyranny, arbitrariness and dictatorship, individually or severally, have no permanent friends, they may be your allies today but tomorrow they will come for you.  If you support unconstitutional acts today because it aids your grand strategic vision be not surprised when the same tools of suppression are used to quash your aims.
