The Eloquence of My Faith
Over the past two weeks I have been forced into winsome hibernation requiring self-isolation in a box room of constrained dimensions. I have been totally reliant on my faith in my Lord and saviour and the efficacy of His healing. It was on my flight from Nigeria into the UK that my suspicions were awakened to the fact that I might be harbouring the Covid19 virus.
My sense of smell had completely left me and aches pains and a foreboding headache had taken hold. Immediately in England I sought to be tested and was confirmed positive for the virus.
The news proved most difficult but my family rallied, my wife provided loving care and daughters offered support and words of encouragement. Also friends in the know like BM, H, and my Chaplain in Nigeria were exceptional. The second test proved positive again. However, through fervent prayers today, this moment my re-test confirmed me negative for the virus, I am immensely thankful be to God Almighty I am now free!
To all my friends, relatives and loved ones, if you harbour any doubts about the virus, its real, please social distance and adorn your face masks!
