PANAFISM: What Next?

Tunde Suleiman in reviewing my nominated book 'I found my voice' https://www.createspace.com/4943826 for best writer had this to say:

'Panafism seemed to mean something it gave structure to your  politics but I expected it should have matured. The ideological content of Panafism in my own opinion is weak.  it did not espouse a system but a rhetoric for a struggle owned by a small clique of men.'

My response is:

Where does Panafism go from here, beyond sloganising and student union gimmicking? What is the next challenge that it should surmount? How does it become a coherent body of ideas, an ideology that precedes action for transformation in the present Nigeria? That is the gauntlet Tunde Suleiman has drown down to me in his excellent review of my book 'I found my voice'.

What Next?

In the next few months I shall work towards engagement with this question as it relates to what the present day Nigeria projects.  I hope many more can read my book 'I found my voice' to appreciate some thoughts I have put into the question that is Nigeria.

What are the opportunities that the current ideological dearth in Nigerian political space presents?
